But one of the main problems I have found is all of the best stories pop up on the smaller websites and go largely unknown by the masses and I now find most of my time is eat up checking blogs or RSS and googleing. And then it hit me why not have a youtube like website but for stories / series.
Before I invest Time and money I would like everyone elses thoughts on such a website.
So what do ya think?
Tron,
Are you talking about "reading" the story on YouTube or a website like that? Somewhat like an Alfred Hitchcock theme to it? You know where he stands there and tells you what's going on? Or are you talking more along the lines of audio vs. video?
I know that I'm asking a bunch of stuff. The reason that I'm asking is that I do run two websites that have their own storyline:
Quantum Leap: The Virtual Seasons This is it's 8th year to run. There are now 225 episodes up about how Dr. Sam Beckett is leaping from life to life putting things right that once were wrong.
Quantum Retribution It's on it's 4th year to run and there are at least 108 stories over there. It's the other side of the Quantum Leap coin. It's the Evil Leaper Complex: Project Alexander and how Lothos (the evil super-hybrid computer) is out to get the world and change history to his liking.
At the moment, I'm also working on doing an Audio -- a radio play -- for both sites. So, I'm somewhat understanding to some degree what you are talking about.
I think that it would be interesting to have a Buck Rogers Audio Play running out there somewhere ... that is IF that's what you are talking about when you mentioned a website like YouTube. Or, I could be totally off base.
Help me out and explain it a bit more.
You know... spell it out for me.
Thanks.
