Also in this movie the ship has almost as much personality as the crew, although it never actually speaks............

I've noticed that no one has made a guess and I have some free time at the moment while on vacation....................so here is another quote:

Also another clue about the movie, it is a spin-off from a short lived TV series...........

Serenity is a great flick, by the way- and this is coming from someone who never watched the show Firefly...

Interesting shot but wrong
. Second clue: this movie is a classic that came out in 1961 and it inspired a TV series.
