...I wish I could watch the Sci Fi channel at night better. Ever since this Dr. Who premiered I've only seen a few whole episodes and the rest starting mid-way through the show. Thank goodness at least I've seen half of the episode where Rose is replaced so I know what people are talking about.

I agree about David Tennant, but still I like Christopher Eccleston best! And I can't wait to see the episode when Captain Jack returns...

I liked Christopher but now after seeing David as the Doctor, I prefer David.

Captain Jack's OK. I've watched a few 'Torchwood' episodes but I couldn't get into it. [depri]

Captain Jack is different in Doctor Who then in Torchwood. But offcourse they are made for different target audience. I am curious how Captain Jack will be in tonights episode of Doctor Who.

So what did you think? I thought it was a great episode -- I loved the interaction between Jack and the Doctor. Jack has just as good chemistry with the Tenth as with the Ninth incarnation!

I also like it that Jack is back to his lighthearted self; he was so gloomy in Torchwood...

Again, I STILL haven't seen the show- but I understand the Master was brought back. I wonder how they managed that? Last time I saw him, he was sucked into the Eye of Harmony (last residing in the Doctor's TARDIS...) :)

Yes, the Master is back. They haven't explained yet how he survived. Maybe we'll find out tomorrow.

I just found this story:

http://www.comicmix.com/news/2007/10/21 ... -1st-time/

The Tenth Doctor meets the Fifth Doctor... I admit, I STILL haven't been able to watch the new show, but this puzzles me somewhat- I mean, it's nice that Peter's returning to the show, but it's been about 25 years and he HAS aged- and it doesn't make sense that his character would have done so.

I suppose it's just nitpicking, I guess. I don't have a problem with it, but it just seems like they could have cast a younger actor to fit the bill, rather than cast the original actor just to connect the series.

He might not be playing Dr. Who. A few years ago I remember TV guide saying about an episode of Smallville having Christoper Reeves play a character that helps Tom Welling's character on the show.

As he's wearing his "Fifth Doctor" outfit in the photo, I would hazard a guess that he IS reprising his old role! [blinzel]

Good point about the aging, I never thought of that!

But it will be fun to see Peter Davison as the Doctor again. He was my first Doctor!

'K this might sound like a dumb question.

I just watched an animated Dr. Who story. Was that a TV special or an episode thats part of the normal series, only for this one a cartoon?
