Well, I feel quite stupid now, but I don't think it's easy at all... So just a guess here: are you referring to Buck and Benjamin Rogers?

I know... Just thought you might have counted him as an "alternative version" of Buck. I'm afraid I don't know the answer then :pale:

(Feeling pretty stupid now) But my bet is that it's a character from the first season -- I still need to rewatch those episodes on dvd, as the last time I saw them was over 20 years ago...!

Oooh of course! You are right, I did like that episode a lot. But for some reason I didn't think of it at all. My memory is like a sieve these days! Anyway it's Pangor/Jason Samos.
