Photo Trick

I think the term for this is masking in photo editing such as putting one image on top of another and combining them into being one photo. Correct me if I'm wrong on that definition. It's some thing I've never known much about in photo editing but I've found a way to cheat in doing it I'm sure not many others have thought of.

1. Take your first picture and outline your object of focus in a bright color that can be found no where else in the image.

2. Then color the surrounding background in the same highlighting color used for the outline.

3. Copy the picture to a .gif maker program and make the background of your image transparent.

4. Save your new .gif.

5. Select a new photo or make a new image file. ( This will be your background. )

6. Encode a page in HTML making a new web page using the background file mentioned in step 5.

7. Using HTML code center your .gif image where you want on the web page.

8. Have the computer display the page.

9. Copy and paste the web page into a photo editor and save only the part of the image you want.

....Made a new avatar this way but not sure I want to use it here.
