Opening credits preview

Postby systemcat » Thu Nov 30, 2006 2:03 am

These are some rendered scenes in sequential order of the movement through the opening credits. The only thing I can't show are the names of the fantasy cast of this because that hasn't been completed.

Besides giving a preview, this post is also for any one interested in helping with the music: to give an idea of what this looks like.

This next one is inside the Star-Port, this is my second shot on trying to make it looks right. But Bryce can only do so much ... hope you guys like it.

All of this takes place within one minute and eleven seconds.

Some of this will get changed but only by a hair unless people hate it.

Looks promising. I particularly like the image with the purple cloud.

Oh man, that is only on screen for maybe a whole second before it goes away  . It's at the very start of the space scene. There is a longer camera passing through a cloud bit later in the space scene  . In fact it's a little of that pass through that you see in the second space scene pic. Do you guys mind that the purple cloud is only at the very start :sad5: ?

I agree. I like the idea of the camera passing through it.

Is this a whole rendered movie or is it seperate rendered static images?
If this is a whole rendered movie (which im assuming it is) then this is fantastic work and I would be more then happy to lend a hand with any audio work [ok]

Sorry guys, I think this fact should have been announced. Trekscaper, a few days ago sent me a piece of music for the video. I think it sounds really good, and he's going to be editing ( cutting it down ) it for it to work well with the video. The fact that he's doing this help for the opening credits has has noted on the Work Horses page, even a link to his website.

This cartoon hasn't been fully rendered. Only a couple of scenes, another scene is going to be rendered tonight. The space scene isn't going to be rendered till the casting is done.

Well the casting is done all that's really left to finish this is a trip to Copy Max and having the computer render the last scene which I think will take at a guess 20 hours. I'd go out to get the pictures scanned right now if it wasn't for the 2 or 3 feet of snow right at my door :angry2: . Previewed the rendered scenes with the music and the two seem to stink up pretty nicely :blob: .

Sad news: I tested putting an image inside the animation and it didn't come out how I wanted it to. It's just too faint, this test was also for the credits. Going to be adding the credits in through my movie editor now because if this. Sorry guys :( .
