New Format For Season Three?

Postby systemcat » Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:46 pm

I've been thinking about this idea off & on for a while and now I've decided to do it. Animate an episode. This will be done for the first episode of season three and depending on people's reactions is whether or not the rest of the season is done that way. There will be a kind of teaser done this way first stating about this change in the project from the norm. The teaser won't be made till I'm in my new apartment and things are setup there, hopefully that won't be a long wait. There won't be talking in the teaser or episode 43 unless people volunteer to do voice acting. Talking until voices can be added will take the form of comic balloons for the characters.

Other than voices, there are no technical issues behind this happening. ...Except having an unpacked scanner .

I do wish you the best of luck on this, and I'm glad that you decided to go through with it. Sorry that I couldn't be more help, but I do know that you'll do a wonderful job on it, Erin! It's a pretty big venture for a small series like this, but it should do well in getting some new people attracted, right?

Maybe (new people interested). I've been wanting to do a video version for a while and I have no idea what happened to the first route with that. I PMed Jess in Al's ages ago and she still hasn't answered :(. We were talking about it up until ...I think she's gone from that forum. Maybe she's producing a full blast TV show, in which case good luck to her, I'm just bummed the idea ended to nothing.

I've been animating longer than I've been writing stories ..well good ones at least. And have wanted to share with others better my idea of what the Buck Rogers 26th Century world looks like. This change will give the chance to do that and for lack of money to host extra space for the site for this, with the fact I'll be using my YouTube account to host the videos, that will I'm sure expand on how many people know of the series.

When the video version starts, a new page directly connected into the 26th Century site will be made to hold / show all the videos in one spot. But people will still have to click from the main page to select which video they want to watch.
