There are 3 of them. A 3 year old girl, 2 year old boy and 2 month old baby. My niece's 3 children. She works at Wendy's, so the hours vary and we can have them 90-120 hours a week depending on her schedule. The fast food industry is a tough field to be in. Melody

Sounds like you have a nice handful :-)

I know what you mean about fast food places being a tough field to be in. I use to work at a truck stop ... many, many years ago. Even back then it was a fast pace.

Good news... I'm finally caught up on all my bills. <yipppeee> I got my federal back Tuesday and my state back on Thursday. Paid for my daughter's college fee, paid off my sister, hotel loan and my doctor. Boy, it feels good.

How is everyone doing?

I'm still freezing my tail feathers off. :-(

Congratulations, Graylady! :)

As for me, I've been jobless for weeks now. Had an interview yesterday that went well, but it's only freelance and they don't know when they would need me. It's a start, though.

Wow... I guess that seems so strange to me, a lot of places here are having to fly people in from other countries as there just is too much work and not enough workers. I hope things improve for you HP.

Sorry I have not been around, have really been not well. I start off ok in the morning but its downhill from there. Really struggling to eat anything at all. I just forced a bread roll down and now I feel shocking.

must go i am being summoned by a 3 year old

I hope things get better for you also HP.

As with Bexter, I haven't been on that much either the past week. Another girl quit without warning so it's just myself and another new girl. We ended up doing a lot of deep cleaning yesterday in all the rooms. I'm hoping today will be a lot easier. <fingers>

I just started getting my act togther, eating well excercising and now I'm so ill I can hardly get out of bed!!

I swear!! If I'm pregnant I will NEVER speak to my husband again!! 'cause beleive me if this is "morning sickness" then its so bad that there is bound to be more than one baby (twins in the family unfortunately)

I know its not nice to pray for someone to be not pregnant but for goodness sake PRAY!!!!!!!!!!

Oh how cool, how long have i been a colonel!! [tanz]

Hello

Postby ladyfreebird » Wed Feb 27, 2008 10:28 pm

Hello everyone,

Yep, I'm still here and very much alive. Sorry I haven't posted lately. Been busy working. They have me working 6 days a week now. So by the time I get home, I'm so tired I can barely see straight. The past two days have been hard. I trained a new girl yesterday and another one today. To show how tired I've been the past few days. When it comes to fixing dinner, well.... it's BurgerKing, Pizza Hut or snack food. [skepti]

Well, off to bed. Take care and I'll try to pop in again later.

I'm a little envious- fast food is a guilty pleasure of mine.

An extremely guilty pleasure.

My fast food intake is probably 3 or four times a year, so I relish every time I can grab a Whopper, which isn't often.

I know what you mean HP. But, I do miss cooking a nice dinner at home. Whoppers are a guilty pleasure of mine as well. Maybe after things settle down at work, I can start cooking again. <sigh>

Lately my sister has been trying desperately to ’de-dag’ me, she took me shopping to get me some decent clothes etc

Price of 6 New shirts from local boutique $120.00

Price of snappy new jeans $45.00

Price of a pair of black strappy sandles $29.00

Look on her face when we both turned up at school today to pick up kids wearing EXACTLY the same clothes right down to our shoes - PRICELESS

That will teach her..............ROFLMAO

Hello everyone, :-)

Just a quick note to say, "I'm still here" Been busy at work. I'm starting to think I have too many oars in the water. Thinking about backing off in one of the forums I'm a member of and maybe a yahoo group. Maybe then I might have time to do other things I'm way behind on.
