The 26th Century

While writing the up coming episode "Gods of Lions" I really could picture some of it as a comic. Would love to make some scenes into mini comics for the main site, from different episodes. But since I normally leave it up to the reader's imagination on what the characters look like. I need to know who the readers picture which actors and actresses would work well for the show if it ever became a real one. Characters that get used a lot like Buck, Wilma, Huer, Fox, De-Pas, Taindair plus just for the hell of it the voices of Twiki and Theopolis. True episode 11 doesn't use most of the normal cast but who would be cast as Ben is another one I'd like to know. When people have told who'd they like to see cast I'll try my best to draw accordingly.

In some of my stories I've had to make up people. Like Karri, Saleena and some of the crew on the Searcher. And later you'll see in my other 2 stories, other names that I made up.

Is this person going to be sincere in the Episode?

Is this person going to be sensible. You know, a good head on their shoulders or silly?

Basically what I want to know is what kind of person is this person playing?

Just think about how these characters present them selfs in the episodes then think "hmm, wait I know who could play that part well!"

Okay, I think I got one for you. How about Thomas Kretschmann?

He's tough looking, and has the attitude to go with it. He played in the movie "King Kong" as the captain of the ship.


Not sure if that's what you meant though.

I've only seen him in that movie, so I'd say he should be a good guy.

Maybe... another pilot that was transfered?

I'm guessing about King Kong you were talking about the movie that came out last year. Cause I've only seen the venison that came out in the 70's.

Thomas Kretschmann which character do you picture him playing, as one of the characters listed at the beginning of the post?

I think he'd make a pretty good Buck.

In the movie "King Kong" his role as the ship's captain got me thinking of how good he'd be as Buck. If they ever came out with a remake of "Buck Rogers"

Since I'd never heard of that actor before you first brought him up I looked up a picture of him. He does look like he could play Buck.

The actor I was thinking about to play a young Hawk was.. Adrian Brody. He played in the movie "King Kong" also.
